How to declutter your brain

This year I’ve set myself a challenge to declutter 2021 things in 2021.

It's actually turning out to be harder than I thought!

I’m on 708 which is quite a way behind the target for the year but I'm getting there.

The thing I’ve been procrastinating on the most is what to actually do with the STUFF that we’re getting rid of.

While charity shops and car boot sales were closed, it’s been building up, waiting to leave the house.

When my head feels jumbled, the last thing I can think of is where I need to take my clutter.

So I did the thing I know best. I asked for help.

On Thursday I text my friend and asked her to help me decide where each pile needed to go.

I sent her pictures of the things and she told me where to take them.

Charity shop. Awesome Wales. Recycling.

By the end, I had a plan and a place for everything to go.

When our heads are jumbled it’s not easy to find a place to start, let alone make a dent in the task in front of us.

But when you ask for help, the massive task becomes not so difficult anymore.

Now I have an unscrambled brain, a clear plan and an empty spare room, it's a win win.

I can give you all the marketing advice in the world in these newsletters, but if you don't know how to ask for help when you need it, everything will be so much harder.

This week, take that big task you've been putting off and ask a friend to help you.

If there's a way I can help, reply to this email and let me know!
