New pillows and newsletters

Before I get into the blog I just want to start by saying thank you.

This week I’ve been talking a lot about The 5 Day Newsletter Fix and I’ve been the most visible in my business I’ve ever been.

Your comments, likes, shares and messages to say ‘keep going!’ have been really appreciated.

I’ve done a few things this week that have been totally out of my comfort zone, like going live on Instagram, posting more than once a day and sharing lots of reels.

I know that the course isn’t for everyone, but I hope that there has been some advice in those posts that you can take away to help you promote your own business too!

Hannah Isted Marketing in the rearview mirror of a van

We’re now almost half way through the year and I’ve been thinking a lot about what I’d like for the next 6 months and how to take small steps to get there. Last weekend we went away and stayed at an amazing house with a dream kitchen, dream garden, dream bedroom, dream everything! Although we aren’t looking to move house right this second, there were small things we've done to have a little piece of that dream life right now. We treated ourselves to new bedding, pillows and a huge mattress protector (game changer?!) and although we don’t have grass in the garden, we take the dogs out to the park as much as we can. We didn’t need to buy a big house to feel like we’re taking steps towards that goal. When we have massive goals and dreams it’s not always about taking huge leaps towards them.

It’s about making small steps that add up over time. If you want to sell more, you’ll usually find it easier with a bigger audience. If you want a bigger audience you need to start reaching more people. If you want to reach more people you could…

  • Start a newsletter

  • Experiment with Reels

  • Go live on Instagram

  • Be a guest on a podcast

Make it so small that you can’t talk yourself out of it! Everyone can start a newsletter right? You could spend 10 minutes creating a reel, couldn’t you? My latest podcast is all about how to plan for the next 6 months, so I’d love to hear what you’d like to achieve! Send me a reply and let me know.
